By request, a comic from the mind of my Dad: “Hey Wes you should make a comic about when you asked me if we could take the batteries out of Mamie.” That is what I heard, but I didn’t know what he was talking about. So he explained that, once, a long time ago, the family was gathered together while I was a toddler, and my cousin (Mamie) was a baby. During that visit Mamie become inconsolably upset, and began to cry without stopping. I walked up and asked, “Can you take the batteries out?”. Then he said I should do it Family Circus style. LYB Dad!
As it says this comic was inspired by The Family Circus, created by Bil Keane. Respect for this art.
Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present. -Bil Keane
This music on in the background during the making of this comic. And it was particularly inspiring.
